Bass Island Line (BIL) is providing a safe and dedicated shipping service for the King Island community.
We operate a weekly direct service between the Port of Grassy on King Island and the Port of Devonport. BIL also offers a seamless transhipment service to the Port of Melbourne, Victoria.
BIL started operating in April 2017. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the state-owned company, Tasmanian Ports Corporation Pty Ltd (TasPorts).
