Update 67

RO, RO, RO your boat.

The transition to Devonport as the Tasmanian mainland home port has been well received by customers.

To meet customer demand, the roll-on roll-off (RORO) ramp is now operational in Devonport and ready to receive the John Duigan.

Devonport provides a central port that is convenient for a variety of businesses who use the Bass Island Line service.

Driver induction, Geelong

GeelongPort have asked us to pass along a useful reminder that all drivers delivering or collecting cargo from Geelong are required to be inducted into GeelongPort.

Induction can be arranged through M.Thompson@geelongport.com.au

Drivers need to be inducted prior to entering the terminal. This process may take up to five days.

Geelong RORO ramp

Planning for the Geelong RORO ramp is progressing well and is on schedule to be operational this year.

New schedule working well in all weather.

With more wild weather this week our new schedule again had the flexibility to absorb a short delay and will quickly return to the normal schedule by Sunday.

Bass Island Line thanks all our customers for their understanding and cooperation.
